This is my contribution to Six Years Later Magazine first issue. “Consumerism” was the set theme.
El Clásico (English: The Classic), also known as El derbi Español or El Clàssic, is the name given to any football match between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. It is contested twice a year in the Spanish La Liga competition, and more often if the clubs meet in other competitions. Other than the UEFA Champions League Final, it is the most followed club football match in the world, watched by hundreds of millions of people.

The L.A. Galaxy soccer-celebrity, in town for Wednesday’s game against Toronto FC at BMO Field, was asked if a recently-filmed spot that shows him bending three consecutive balls with his bare foot from the sand and into garbage cans far in the distance was real, not something doctored. It is doctored!
