The A3 e-tron concept is Audi’s alternative for people who would like to consider a plug-in hybrid, but aren’t willing to put up with something that drives like a toaster.
The Audi A3 e-tron’s underpinnings are based off something very un-Prius-like—the Audi RS3, though it’s been heavily reworked inside and out to achieve the appropriate “tron look.”

2012 Nissan GT-R Test Drive
Price: $89,950–$95,100
Competitors: Audi R8, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Porsche 911 Turbo
Powertrains: 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6, 530 hp, 448 lb-ft; six-speed dual-clutch automated manual
EPA Fuel Economy (city/hwy): 16/23 mpg
What’s New: As if the first-gen GT-R wasn’t steroidal enough, the 2012 update injects even more testosterone into the all-wheel-drive beast from Japan, boosting horsepower to 530 and torque to 448 lb-ft. The GT-R can now blast to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, LED running lamps, a new front fascia with larger openings and a redesigned rear diffuser—but the benefits include a drag coefficient drop to 0.26, and 10 percent more downforce at speed.
